Why the iOS 4 has been tracking every location point of your device is something I have no answer for. Some new feature that Apple did not want to be released this way is the best I can think of. Also not sure but this might have something to do with the Find my iPhone in some really odd cases to track where exactly the phone had been before it went off the grid. *Just a thought*
